Why is The Big 5 called The Big 5?

 

Back in 1979 a construction exhibition was launched in Dubai and it represented the five biggest sectors of the construction industry:

  • Building
  • Water technology & environment
  • Air conditioning & refrigeration
  • Cleaning & Maintenance
  • Glass & Metal

The show has since expanded and today we have 5 dedicated product zones plus a co-located show, The Big 5 Solar:

  • Construct Technology & Innovation

 

What are the exhibition timings?

10:00 am – 6:00 pm daily

What is the fee to visit exhibition?

Entry to The Big 5 Construct India exhibition is absolutely free of cost. No entry fee is required to be paid.

What is the fee to attend CPD certified workshops, seminars and other conferences?

Entry to all workshops, seminars and conferences is absolutely free. No delegate fee is required to be paid at all.

What is the exhibition venue?

Hall 1, Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO), Western Express Highway, Goregaon (East), Mumbai – 400063, India

Which gate do I use to enter exhibition centre?

Enter from gate 1 or 2 which will take you to Hall 1 located inside Bombay Exhibition centre (BEC).

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, parking is available at the venue for cars and two-wheelers at a nominal fee. This is very close to hall 1.

How do I reach Bombay Exhibition Centre?

There are many ways of travelling to Bombay Exhibition Centre. You can use following modes of transportation:

  • Taxi / Radio Cab: Easily available from domestic and international airports, they follow meters and produce receipts as well.
  • Auto-rickshaw: Easily available and run on meters.
  • Railway (local): The nearest railway station is Goregaon which is about 15 min away from the venue. You can further reach BEC by using auto-rickshaw (three wheeler service) which is likely to cost about INR 25-30. Further, from Goregaon station you can catch local train to all parts of Mumbai and subsequently catch express trains to major cities in India.

What is the procedure of visiting?

We encourage you to pre-register online as a visitor before coming to the show, use this link to do so. Alternatively, you can register when you arrive at the exhibition venue by filling up visitor registration form. Please ensure to carry your business cards or student ID at the show.

Are you having registration problems?

Please note you may face an error in registration if you use an info@ email id, as it is a generic email id and the system will not except it so please register with a unique email id to receive your badge number for The Big 5 Construct India .

I have registered but have not received my confirmation email. What shall I do?

Look for email in your junk email folder, if still unable to recover, please write to info@thebig5constructindia.com to get your confirmation email.

The email address I used to register is no longer valid/ I don’t have access to it. What shall I do?

You must register again with an address that you can access.

Can I invite my colleagues or friends who might be interested in visiting?

Yes, invite your industry colleagues or friends to visit The Big 5 Construct India exhibition.

I don’t have an invitation card, can I still attend?

Yes, all professionals and students related to architecture, construction and infrastructure sector are welcome to visit exhibition and attend workshops. You only need to carry your business card or student ID while attending the exhibition.

What should I do when I arrive at the show?

If you have pre-registered as a visitor, go to ‘Pre-Registered Visitor’ counter and show print of email confirmation at the Registration Area to collect your badge.

If you have not registered in advance, fill up visitor registration form and submit at counters to receive your badge.

What areas can I access with visitor badge?

  • Trade visitor badge gives you free access to show the entire floor and all concurrent workshops and seminars all three days.
  • VIP badge gives you free access to the VIP lounge, as well as the areas mentioned in point 1
  • Press badge gives you free access to the press lounge, as well as the areas mentioned in point 1

What if I fail to bring my visitor registration confirmation proof at the show?

We encourage you to bring a print of email confirmation (of your visitor registration) at the show. The confirmation email will carry your badge number which allows you access to the exhibition. In case you are unable to bring the printed confirmation email, visit our staff at the ‘Pre-registered Visitor’ desk and they will assist you with printing your badge.

Can I bring my family to the exhibition?

Minors under 18 years of age are not admitted to the exhibition. This is a health and safety policy and it is strictly enforced.

How much does it cost to exhibit at The Big 5 Construct India?

Cost of exhibiting depends on the stand location, size and type of stand. Click here to enquire about exhibiting

How many exhibitors at the show?

There will be close to 180 exhibitors at the show representing over 15 countries. 

What is the cost of the Show Guide/Exhibition Directory?

Show guide is available only on-site to all visitors and will be absolutely free of cost.

Where can I collect my CPD Certificate?

The certificate can be collected on the days the educational session has been held and will not be available for collection after the event.
